The Nationwide Pension Fund is pleased to announce that the Trustee has entered into a longevity insurance policy with the UK insurer Zurich Assurance Ltd (Zurich UK) and the reinsurer The Prudential Insurance Company of America.
The policy transfers a key risk for the Fund and you can read more in our announcement at https://nationwidepensionfund.co.uk/announcements. There’ll be no change to how pensioners receive their pension each month. These will continue to be paid, on behalf of the Trustee, by the Fund Administrator, Buck. There’s also no change for members who haven’t taken benefits yet.
We’ve updated the Fund’s Privacy Policy to reflect that any necessary data will be shared with Zurich UK and The Prudential Insurance Company of America.
